Essay Project

I remember that one time I saw a documentary program on T.V about air pollution. I recognize that the world has a serious problem which will affect our environment as well as our life. Nowadays there are many real examples of air pollution and it is the biggest issue that the earth is facing. It is an important problem along with global warming, climate change and the ozone layer hole (www.atm). Here is a glance at the causes of air pollution and how it can affect us with some effective possible solutions.

Air pollution is a percentage of carbon dioxide(CO2) that is in the air which can affect all kinds of environmental life on the earth such as organisms and plants. In addition it has several natural causes like volcanoes and forest fires. Unfortunately it can be caused by human activities such as generating electricity, sprays, smoking cigarettes and riding a car which can produce a lot of carbon dioxide gas.

Also global warming has lots of negative effects which can damage our planet. The first effect is change of climate during the seasons of the year like in winter you can feel the increase of degree and feeling cold. The second important effect is the water level in the world and oceans are increasing which means sinking of the countries; it is hard to believed but it is true and some of the islands in the world already disappeared.
The ozone layer hole is caused by CO2 because it will damage the layer during some natural reactions in the weak oxygen. The human health effects of the ozone layer caused by the harmful radiation from the sun light are to get illnesses like cancer and breathing diseases (www.nas.nasa.gov). So I propose to change our mind and open our eyes to the reality because there is no other solution.

The solution is to save the environment by reducing the use of carbon dioxide by using other natural solutions. For example in the generating of electricity industry the governments can replace the huge amount of fossil fuels by using other renewable power energy like solar energy and wind energy (www.eia.doe.gov). In addition these kinds of power sources will not affect the environment because they will not produce any harmful gases. In addition the wind energy is more expensive than the solar energy, but on the other hand solar cells need a lot of maintenance because the dust stock on it. In addition the governments should make the people aware by giving them a brief idea about the air pollution.

On the other hand people are responsible for these effects because they are using a lot of carbon dioxide when they drive their own cars to go shopping or go to an work every morning. Also switch off the unused of any electrical device which is not necessary to work. Also people are cutting the main source of oxygen which is the trees.
In my opinion the governments can start to reduce the amount of carbon in the air by working hand in hand with the community. They are completing each other and they both can end these pollution issues by co-operating together.

Program Related Research Report

The invention of electricity in the 1820s and early 1830s by the British scientist Michael Faraday changed our living style from a harsh life to an easier one. Also it replaced 10 men’s work with one machine which is worked by electricity. It is the main utility used in houses and factories. How power turbines get manufactured and operated. The electricity industry developed in the last quarter of the 19th century. In this report I’m going to describe the way of developing the generation of the electrical industry and how governments are interested in it.

In the past, the earliest electrical generators were generated by coal. Moreover the coal is a fossil fuel which produces a lot of carbon dioxide emissions in the air because it is needed to burn a huge amount of coal to generate electricity. Next the generators have moved to use fuel such as oil and gas which are fossil fuel. ‘In 1975 fossil oil and natural gas were being replaced by other forms of renewable resources with low-cost which does not harm the environment’ (Wikipedia, 2008). Some types of renewable energy are Biomass, Geothermal Energy, Wind Energy and Photovoltaic Cells. These types convert the energy of the natural resources to an electrical source by using a proper device in a proper way. Also ‘in April 2008 the garbage was converted into alternative energy with a simple way to treat the environment’ (Business Line, 2005) by using a coal with a tiny amount of carbon dioxide. Nowadays the generators industry has been improved because the parts are built to be used in all kinds of forces that need to operate the machine. For example in wind energy turbines they used wind towers instead of small buildings which are easily broken. Also they used the height of skyscrapers to generate electricity by using photovoltaic cells and the power of wind energy. Moreover there is nuclear power which is generating a lot of electrical energy with a small amount of pollution but it needs a high level of technology. The world is now trying to use the power of earth’s gravity and they are spending a high amount of money to make studies to generate power and save the environment.

In conclusion any country without electrical power supply is missing a major reason to start developing the country. The development of electrical generators has become better because we are enjoying living on the only earth we have. Moreover we do not want to damage our beautiful earth by adding a lot of carbon dioxide in the air which is the main effect of the global warming. Also the governments should make it a first priority to live in a healthy air.

(A):

Bugatti VS Porch 911 Turbo
Nowadays, you can see many kinds of car in the world which are the sport and super sport type. According to the Gulf Newspaper, the majority of young people prefer to drive super sport cars because they like to challenge time and live the adventure, however there are the Bugatti and the Porsche 911 turbo and I have decided to write an essay to explain the similarities and differences between these two super sport vehicles.

First of all, let's talk about the similarities in the Porsche 911 Turbo and the Bugatti. They are both super sport cars with a super engine which can produce torque and high performance. Also they are both manufactured in Germany. Another similar point is the engine is located in the back of the car to reduce the air resistance. Next the Porsche 911 Turbo is a four wheel vehicle, as the same as the Bugatti. In addition they are both two door cars and come with advanced features like body kit color and spoilers. Next to that they are both having an air condition system to cool the air down while driving in the summer season and heater to warm the temperature in winter. Finally they are both expensive cars because they are sport and luxurious car.

Not only are the cars are expensive, but the difference between them is huge because 'the price of the Porsche 911 Turbo is $130,000 but the Bugatti is $1,400,000' (www.leftlanenews.com/bugatti-veyron-16.4.html). Therefore, it is definitely not fair to compare them. Another difference of owning the Bugatti is you can reach up to 407 km per hour with torque 922 N. On the other hand owning the 'Porsche 911 Turbo you can reach up to 312 km per hour with torque 650 N'(www.veyronbugatti.com). Another difference is that the Porsche 911 Turbo's weight is 3481 lbs and the Bugatti weight is 4162 lbs. Also the Bugatti Horse Power is 1001 double the Porsche 911 Turbo which is 500 HP. Finally the acceleration from 0 to 60MPH : 'the Bugatti reach it within 2.5 seconds and the Porsche 911 Turbo in 3.7 seconds according to Top Speed website(www.topspeed.com).

The interesting point of the Bugatti is the spare parts are very expensive comparing with the Porsche. Also the history of Buggati was to make super sport cars. Finally the Porsche is popular with luxury features.

In my opinion the Bugatti is much better because it is the fastest and the best in the world but it is too expensive. So I will choose the Porsche 911 Turbo because it is a super sport car and easy buy compared to the Bugatti.

2011 Mustang Car

This article is a motoring review of the 2011 Ford Mustang. Also it has a five litre engine, unofficially code named Coyote. On the other hand it is a 4 passenger with 2 doors coupe car. And according to the article, its power and ratio should be the best sport car because the top speed will be 149mph with in 35.3 second.
Variable valve timing which is exists in a new system of an exhaust system. The company also tried to improve the automatic gearbox to keep it smooth without shacking in the gear. Although the new sealing around the radiator to allow the air to be passed to the engine from the front cover and under body. Next they car improved the brake system and they altered the shape of the wheel and introdused new-style spokes. There are some optional wheels with red callipers and 19 inch spokes.

Reference: Auston, Michael. "2011 Ford Mustang." Car and Drive Mar. 2010: 43-44. Print.

Main Idea:

Michael Austin describes the new Mustang sport cars which the company has improved the car design with high torque of the engine. Also he describes some about an optional part.

My comments:

In my opinion if they make the new Mustang car with an optional body to be a family car or larger from inside it will be better. But if the reader is going for a sport cart absolutely he will be looking in the improvements on the Mustang car.
